The number of new U.S. solar installations fell 15 percent in the third quarter, largely as a result of the Trump administration’s tariffs policies, an industry groups says. But analysts expect the current weakness in the utility-scale market to be offset by larger volumes over the next five years because of low solar prices, the report said.
