As the pandemic persists, COVID-19 has claimed more than 200,000 lives in the United States and damaged the public health system and economy. Researchers have found that long-term exposure to urban air pollution may have made COVID-19 more deadly.
The extremely rare cave-dwelling albino fish with no eyes, the Mexican blindcat, has previously only been known to exist in Mexico.
