The 600-mile Atlantic Coast Pipeline is currently set to end in North Carolina, but conservationists have concerns that the project could be extended to the South Carolina coast to be used for exporting natural gas. Dominion, one of the companies behind the pipeline, is working to expand gas exports, but the company says it has no plans at this time to extend the pipeline.
