EPA head Scott Pruitt said he will replace scientists on the agency’s Science Advisory Board, Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee, and Board of Scientific Counselors with new members and will ban any appointee who receives EPA grants or could benefit from them. He made no mention of conflicts of interest involving appointees who are paid by corporate interests.
