EPA Moves to Shield Older Semi Truck Engines from Emissions Rules

The EPA has introduced a proposal to change how it classifies “glider vehicles,” heavy trucks built by pairing a new frame with an old diesel engine and powertrain, to keep from imposing Clean Air Act emissions standards on the vehicles.
