The Trump administration will not impose any limits on perchlorate, a toxic chemical compound used in rocket fuel, among other applications, that contaminates water and has been linked to fetal and infant brain damage, The New York Times reports. It’s the latest in a string of Trump administration regulatory actions that weaken environmental regulations in ways favored by the chemical industry.
