Oklahoma Sen. James Inhofe, one of Scott Pruitt’s key allies on Capitol Hill and a staunch opponent of climate policies, says the EPA administrator may need to step down because of his growing ethics investigations. The No. 2 EPA official, who would likely take Pruitt’s place, is a former coal lobbyist for Murray Energy who previously worked as a staffer for Inhofe.
