The Nature Conservancy analyzed coastal topography from Maine to Virginia to identify  “coastal strongholds,” which are marshes with conditions that make them the most resilient to sea level rise. They aren’t immune to rising oceans, but they can migrate into adjacent areas inland as waters rise.
