Legislation from Sen. John Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican, would cement a number of Trump administration recommendations to bolster nuclear energy, and in turn, uranium mining. The move comes just days after the EPA made an announcement in uranium-rich Wyoming that is expected to ease mining restrictions on the substance.
