EPA Revises the Social Cost of a Potent Greenhouse Gas

In a move that may have big impacts on climate rules, the Trump administration is changing how it measures the social cost of methane. It’s setting an interim price of $55 per metric ton in 2020, about 25 times less than what the Obama administration estimated.
