Funding for Climate Disasters Is ‘Failing’ Those Most Vulnerable, International Aid Group Says

The number of disasters caused by extreme weather and climate-related events is surging, but relief funding isn’t getting to the people who need it most, a new report from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said. Among the list of vulnerable countries that received far less funding than more affluent nations were flood-stricken Sudan and drought-prone Somalia.
