In Montana, Children File Suit to Protect ‘the Last Best Place’

Under Montana’s constitution, the state must maintain a healthy environment. That’s why a group of 16 young Montanans are now suing their government, saying it must hit the brakes on fossil fuels and start addressing climate change. It’s part of a 50-state campaign to put government policy contributing to global warming before the courts.
