The UK’s environment secretary is expected to confirm plans to ban the sale of the most-polluting fuels for domestic wood-burning stoves in an attempt to cut harmful emissions. It would phase out sales of traditional house coal, restrict sales of wet wood and tighten standards on solid fuels.
