Procter & Gamble’s Climate Commitment Leaves Most Emissions Untouched

Consumer-product giant Procter & Gamble pledged on Thursday to cut carbon emissions from its factories and operations in half by 2030 and invest $100 million over the next decade to offset the rest. But the vast majority of the company’s emissions come from its supply chain or through the use of its goods used by consumers, not its operations.
