Pruitt’s Anti-Climate Agenda Is Facing New Challenge From Science Advisers

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt faces a broadening challenge from the agency’s science advisers over his efforts to roll back greenhouse gas regulations. A work group of the EPA’s Science Advisory Board has asked that several of Pruitt’s actions be reviewed by the full board because they lack scientific basis. The list includes his proposals to repeal the Clean Power Plan, weaken auto efficiency and emissions standards, and curb truck pollution.
