Reaching California’s Climate Goal May Require Vacuums to Suck CO2 From Sky

For California to meet its goal of eliminating greenhouse gas emissions by 2045, it will need a vast system to capture and store the emissions—maybe even giant vacuums to suck CO2 from the sky, a new U.S. Energy Department study concluded.
