A unity task force made up of supporters of both Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former Vice President Joe Biden has come up with a series of broad environmental recommendations for Biden as he prepares to become the official Democratic presidential nominee. The plan includes making power plants carbon-free by 2035, and achieving net-zero emissions for all buildings by 2030.
