A combination of insecticides and mite weakens honeybees
New research shows a synergistic time-lag interaction between the parasitic mite Varroa destructor and neonicotinoid insecticides reducing survival of winter honeybees, Apis mellifera.
The extremely rare cave-dwelling albino fish with no eyes, the Mexican blindcat, has previously only been known to exist in Mexico.
